I've started working on a new typeface and thought I'd post some process. It would have a normal style and a variant with some swashes. Feedback is welcome, also naming suggestions.
I think the A could be widened a tad bit more to open up its counter. In the second version it diminishes a little.
I also think the break in the D should also open up a tiny bit more too. And maybe downsize the teardrop of the "E" a little because it's looking heavier than the rest.
Just my two cents :)

Thanks Jose, already working on a better D. The ball terminals will vary in size a little depending on the letter, so I know the one on the E is bigger but that's by design.

I think I might need to thin out those crossbars on the A and B.

Looking good Jude! I agree with what you said about the crossbars.

What about equal-sized teardrop terminals? (I prefer the 'E')

Sharp! The thin line breaking through the D on the bottom seems unnecessary, and will quickly break down in different situations.

Inspirations include Brothers and Davida, look 'em up if you're not familiar. Thanks everyone!
