I'm digging this. Which font are you using for the nav items? Also, hard to tell from this crop but the links up top look to be a tad too close to the nav bar.
Agree with Phil about the top nav items. This is looking pretty good so far. It looks as though there may be too much spacing from the category list and the photos below, but that might just be the crop.

Header for a photographer site I'm working on. Icons were stock, provided by the client, but I like how the nav has come together around them.

The font is Lobster -- this is the first project I'm using @font-face on and it works very well.
Do you mean the links at the very top for Twitter, etc? Or the links below the main nav in that sub-navigation?
