Definitely A, this version seems the most balanced to me! Great improvement to the existing logo and great evolution overall if you look at the range of old/history logos!

A is great. So solid and what a great example of a well re-designed crest. A just looks so much more fierce. I think it's the arch on B that softens it and makes it feel more friendly.
