Very nice Joe! The C/D connection is quite lovely.

What is that seal at the bottom?

Thanks @Nikita! It's actually an old version of the U.S. presidential seal, haha.

Thanks @Brandon & @Melissa! Yeah, with the 2x you can see more texture.

Love the texture! Any tips or tricks you could give a texture amateur...? :)

Thanks @Annette! Some of the texture in my work comes from the paper that I draw on—I usually scan it at hi-res and work with it in Photoshop rather than vectoring in order to preserve this bit of texture. Much of it is digitally applied, though—there are literal thousands of resources that can help you with this. I tend to favor Liam's Subtle Brush Sets since they aren't overdone.

I love how you've seamlessly connected the 'C', 'p' and 'D' all in one, it flows beautifully! Great little curve on the 'e' too, it's a really nice solution for what could otherwise be a bit of a gap in the composition.

Good, thanks! Hadn't realised just how much time had passed since I'd been on here though, it's good to finally catch up. How about you, how have things been?
