Exploring some early simplified looks. Extremely vague representation of an S and a reversed percentage symbol.
This mark is really meant to explore abstract looks and not really read as anything directly.

If I'm 100% honest I couldn't see an 'S' in there until reading your description. Perhaps when/if it's placed next to the name of the brand it would be discovered a little easier.

I love the mark, but i also did not see the S. I agree with @Adam Whitcroft on it reading better in proximity to the brand name.

from the project name it says something financial, and it definitely feels 'secure' for sure, so that is great.

I like this one vs. the rotated version. It feels more vertical and the lines feel more dominantly "forward" - if this is some kind of financial company then that seems like it would be important to try to embody.
