I was very impressed by the great shot of Creative Mints. And I wanted to try create my own tomato 100% in Photoshop, only painting with brushes , drawing shapes and using layer styles. No textures or photo piece were used in this picture. it was a great practice for me.
Hope you like it!

Thanx Sergey! My Pomidoro isn't so cool but anyways I think some practice is useful)
Good effort. Perhaps a bit darker down the bottom to accentuate the roundness of the tomato.
@Dan (Hypagraphic) Thanx!
I watched photo reference and color at the bottom seem to be about right probably becouse of reflected light from the white floor)
This is great! Would love to see the bigger view.
@George Otsubo Thanx a lot! I've made it 800x600 but in 400x300 it looks cleaner and nicer so I posted it in smaller version))
It still goes far beyond my thinking how something like this can be created in photoshop. Hopefully I learn it someday. Great work!
need a beautiful background :)
@Delacro You are right! In creative mints pomodoro there's a great BG, it contributes a lot to the whole thing. I shouldn't be lazy and create some sort of background as well))))
The perfect tomato ^^!
