This drawing was an attempt to articulate the moment of discovery and was the first piece of work I completed which featured a significant focus on shading technique in addition to the inclusion of an environment.
Having seen a worked up rough in my studio, Musician Ian M. Hale requested a final rendition of this scene for his Loss EP.
