   Thanks for the comments. I haven't pushed towards realism in a long while. It was nice to see it was somewhat still there. I got used to doing cartoony stuff because I got sick of realism quite a few years back.

    Not sure what the reference photo looked like, but the dark portions on the beak seem just a tad too dark to me. Otherwise, this is a super-solid illustration. Awesome.

    Thanks @Justin Lancaster the reference photo was a couple of images and their beaks were fairly light on both sides. I pushed the dark areas a bit so the black and white would hold up. Thanks for the feedback, I really do appreciate it.
