Stylized Wavy Sand Texture

Hand-painted wavy sand texture I created as a seamless 1024 x 1024. I started with a base colour, and painted in the wave pattern as ground shadows. I built up more depth with light, subtle gradients in the back areas of the piles. This was to add contrast to the drop-shadow effect in areas towards the front. I finished off by accentuating the waves with sharper highlights at the top
