Here is a very clean and simple approach for Tapity's website. I wanted to give it a very minimal feel when reading the blog posts.
When you hover the mouse over the blue header, the "info" icon would disappear and a simple navigation bar would appear under Tapity's logo. See the attachments.
Would love to know your thoughts on this design approach.
Here's my honest feedback. I don't want to be rude or anything, I just want to share my feedback, in case it can help.
Even if I love the simple and flat approach, there a bunch of things that I don't really like in this design. First of all, the black of the logo on the blue background doesn't look really good here. It looks much better on the current blog header, probably because of the white drop shadow.
I don't really like neither the bold font you've used for the menu when the header is hovered. And the interaction is also weird.

Tapity Website Redesign Take 2
by Christain Billings
Another take at the Tapity blog design. I still wanted to keep it minimal and clean, but didn't go as far as in my previous shot.

UPDATE: Some minor adjustments but the new site is now live
