Nice. I would be even more cool if you tried to crossover those checkers with his neck, with shirt texture slowly fading into the skin. Squares as two triangles, and colors picked from pattern. Or, go into extreme, and do the wall behind in the same flat 2d pattern... that would be interesting cover - spot Fredrick. Good job, again.
