After a debacle with Microsoft Word (which resulted in my having to reformat about 60% of already formatted text for a 168 page layout), I reacted the only way an artist knows how: outright rebellion.
I was just listening to copywriters at work complain how word will NOT save after a certain length, and erase your formatting. They were talking about how they have to split the large documents into 2 or even 3 working files, then in the end they will combine. Sounds insane!!!!!!!
After losing yet another document with many many changes, I decided to finalize my idea from a while back. These are new MS Office icons that are currently in development. I think these would look great on a taskbar in any environment, be it Windows, MAC, Unix, etc.

I think you've found a new icon design for Word. I'd use it. If I used Word.
