@George Otsubo haha - i do that all the time. The worst is when you mock up a comp with a cursor and you think your mouse is broken because it won't move. =)

Man, I want to love this. The colors are great, and big videos are always winners. From an information standpoint, I think this layout serves very well.
As a whole, the type throughout isn't really doing anything to engage me or keep me engaged. The typography is definitely very corporate, and if that's what the client is going for or if that's within their brand guidelines, cool. However, if the client is looking for a more unique or cleaner look, investigating some other similar typefaces may go far. It can be overused, but something like Proxima Nova may be a better fit.
On a usability note, how would one go from case study to case study? If they are all in a vertical line, what if you had some sort of navigation so a user can click a button to progress to the next case study? Or perhaps include a submenu bar that includes the case studies?
Keep cranking, man. You are a stellar artist, and I trust that in the end, you will knock this out of the park. You always do!
@Zach McNair awesome feedback! It's always great to hear solutions to things I am going over in my own head.
This is still a WIP, but you hit on some key points. Still exploring how you go from case study to case study as well as the Typography. The client actually really likes this Type but Im not completely sold.
Should have a good rebound of this shot tomorrow, A more complete and final look!
Hey Charlie, loving the colours and visual style of this design.
I just have a few things to point out. Would shortening the nav items to 'services', 'about', 'contact' etc help from a usability point of view. I know I myself find it easier to scan individual words than phrases. I appreciate though that the company may want to set itself apart from competitors through the use of corporate language.
The only other thing is that the full width text on the lower half of the site may be difficult to read due to the long line length.

Case Study page for product ops. Each case study will be slightly different depending if they have a video or just a large hero image.
Borrowed the video image from BKWLD =)

P-Ops Case Study
by Charlie Waite
Reworked case study page. Going with an editorial style layout, also added a sidebar nav to jump between case studies. Type is still a WIP.
Make sure to check out the real pixel for the full page view.
