I'm working on a logo for a Brazilian photographers couple.
Guardalume means something like 'keep the light' or 'collect light'. They will work together in a homeoffice studio for now, and want to keep their identity very warm and 'homemade' mood.
Don't know if the concept is very clear, but I've tried to make both hands in sort of a 'donation' gesture with a shutter/light point in the middle.
Of course there's some amount of work to be done here, but feel free for give me your first impressions and feedback. :))))
Any idea would be very appreciated.

Cara no processo eu consigo ver perfeitamente as duas mãos (e claro o conceito). Porém na imagem final não consigo ver elas. Acho que é talvez por estar no mesmo tom ou o ângulo que estão as mãos também.

That's great! It's original and keep a couple of senses within.
The right side visually looks more heavy. I would make logo (except aperture negative space) more narrow through horizontal axis. I mean, it visually takes space like ellipse but an aperture is circular so it may be better to make whole logo to 90% of current width.

I got to agree with Anton. It looks beautiful and it really makes me think of a couple, but it was hard for me to get shutterpoint at first sight. I managed to visualize it until I read the description.

Despites the client have already choosen this as the final logo, I'm looking for some feedback.
