Thanks @Blake N. Behrens . Brought this into PS at hi res, and just messed around with blur > threshhold / blur > unsharp mask to get that uneven edge/photocopy effect.
Righteous. I've seen some of this look, and have failed miserably replicating it in AI. Essentially I was taking a texture and painstakingly knocking it out. Took ages and never looked as good. Thanks for sharing your technique, yo!
