Creating a pixel-accurate outline version of Apple’s eWorld Tight bitmap font for a publication to be named later. This could also end up being released as a commercial typeface down the road. You never know.

I'd tell you what a sick bastard you are for concocting bitmaps out of vectors in Illustrator, except that I find myself doing this all the time, too. What is wrong with us?

Unrelated: how many times in your life have you redrawn the arrow cursor in AI? For me, that number is approaching infinity.
@Jonathan Admittedly, fewer times redrawing cursors in Illustrator than retouching screenshots in Photoshop or pixel-twiddling the same in HyperCard’s Fatbits mode.
The typographic cat is officially out of the bag. This typeface will appear alongside my interview in 8faces #6.
