@Falko Joseph thank you. to tell you the truth, i used the sharpie first to get the line weight/look i was going for, then went in and used my micron .005 to fill in some areas. perhaps the shot is a bit misleading, but i'll blame it on dribbble for only allowing such a limited space (and cropping out the thin tip).
Seriously, you're coming a long way with your hand-rendered type. I'm really diggin' the stuff you're cranking out these days.
While I will admit that I *initially* read "Balla," and then I thought, "Damn, this Balla is Baller," I quickly caught on to that A-to-FF crossbar ligature, so there was no more confusion from that point on.
apologies for the reupload on this one. some good people brought it to my attention that my previous 'B' was leaning too far forward and making it appear to be falling off due to an optical illusion. i quickly emailed my client and he was more than happy to let me have a redo (this guy is one of the best clients i've ever worked with, btw). attached is the shot that needed some more love.
looks like i'll be having the pleasure to get these bad boys letterpressed on some thick cushiony paper for mr. baffa's business cards.
Fantastic work with this one Colin. I'm with @Jon on, "done with a Sharpie??" Great call, especially for the minimal stroke contrast. It really works for the style and shape of your letters. Love the 'B' too, it's such a nice idea to have it loop back into itself like that. Hope all is well with you by the way!

Looks good. First look at it I read "Balla" but I'm thinking straight on you'd recognize the F's better.
