So i'm a web developer by day with no design experience but currently trying to create a simple 'design' for my personal blog, which will feature web experiments, discussions, code snippets and featured Arduino/electronic projects. Obviously some lovely photography be in situ of the placeholders.

Looks good man!
Clean and nice wireframes mate! welcome home :)
Looks great, excited to see the final product. I'm very fascinated by Arduino and curious to see what kind of projects you do.
nice shot, welcome!
Welcome! Love the grid layout.
great shot and very nice debut! Welcome aboard :) I hope I will see more from you :)
Look forward to it Mike!
This looks great. I love it :)
This is a really clean, well thought-out approach to a blog. I'm a big fan of using symbols to relate back to the navigation for other items on a page. Only thing would be maybe to have a header which isn't just text?
Thanks for all the feedback, really helpful.
@Alexandra Norman Yeah, i'm not a big fan of the header, it needs more work. I'm thinking i'll probably include Twitter/LinkedIn icons, simple search and an "about" section which will show/hide. Thanks for your feedback :)
Looking nice. I would work a bit on the vertical rhythm, tho it is ok almost everywhere: http://cl.ly/image/3x1J3j0Q2J2j/o
The space on the top right of the page bugs me, the rest of the layout is just good, really obvious but in a good way, it feels very natural.
@Jack Bach ⟁ Cheers for the tip Jack, will add some horizontal guides and make sure everything lines up.
@BBXWeb Thanks for the feedback, noted. Maybe i'll add a couple of other filters to balance the right side out...
Nice gridded layout. I would love to see it with content.
