Trying to break convention of a 'boring old table view' to browse Event Attendees. It was also important, because we wanted to make sure there was a clear distinction between the Attendees screen and the regular old (in-app) Contact List.
Nice work @Brian Benitez. Really loving everything about this....my only critique would be the 'Attendees' title. Seems a little. underwhelming. Keep up the solid work!
Have you tried a column of two instead of three? Would that leave more room for people to focus on the names better? I sorta feel this is congested with the three column pictures. But in a way, it does feel nice and fresh!
Looks rad! When it comes to attendees I think putting a face to a name is very important for a lot of people, and as such, is a great place to put a grid view like this in.
Nice work man. There's a lot of information on this screen and you presented it all so elegantly. As @Shaun Moynihan said the 'Attendees' title does seem underwhelming, which makes me think if it's necessary at all? If it were me I'd explore dropping the 'Attendees' text from the nav bar and moving the 'All Attendees/My Connections' segment up there instead.
Lovely. One fear is that the text overlay wouldn't work in all use cases (Long first and last name, high number of connections, long business names, etc.)
Nooo!! That was my super secret concept! But actually I'm glad to know that someone else also came up with this approach. It's just so much better in so many ways.
Easier to touch, more contacts in the same amount of space, and it looks way better.

I dig it. Would love to see the slick animations you add to the loading and/or pagination.

Looks great, nothing to criticise except that the photo looks crisper then a render grr. I think this is alot nicer solution then a list of text.

Great work. I just think that the third row loses space with the alphabetic selector. Maybe I'll go with only 2 rows IMO.
Keep it coming.
