   I like it but somehow the amount of noise is killing the controls section for me. Why don't you apply the style you did on the top bar on the controls bar?

   That album cover is epic! UI is nice. Good to see everyone taking a cue from Rdio and removing the volume controls from music player UIs. The noise doesn't both me much. Did you try what @Davey said about the dusty/star field on the bottom? Was it too much?

   I like the noise at the bottom. It's giving a nice texture to it and personality to the app. I'd add it to the top bar aswell.

   Just two things came to my mind though:
   1 - No volume control?
   2 - I'd give a more subtle contrast on the star gradient color, and maybe add a little glow to it

   It's a great shot and I really like this style. Good job, buddy! :)
