   It only took me forever and a ton of different sketches to come up with something I'm remotely happy with, but wondering if you guys think I should adjust some of the thickness, because it seems a little light in some areas and too heavy in others.

   Oh that's some nice hand-drawn type. I'm thinking the Deming needs a little kerning to breathe but overall it looks awesome!

   I think if I had to find something to nitpick it would be the "a" - Even tho its hand drawn type you can make all you lowercase letter the same width in .Ai - unless you like it like that then leave it. Sweet lettering!
