Agreed with @Brendan Pittman the rounded type ties in nicely and make the type seem approachable. I know it's a go-to, but it works nicely in the situation.
Great stuff. I think the bottom one is the more cohesive with the style you have in the mark (which I like a lot). I would just revisit the kerning on the "ea", "th" and "ts".
I also like the top and bottom marks in the second column from the left in the attachment.

Really like this concept. I prefer the rounded type as well, it's a bit softer. Looks like the kerning needs a little tweaking here and there.

Rounded type FTW! Also, I'm diggin' the marks in the left column the most... They feel a bit less heavy-handed than the other enclosed ones to me.
