Yeah like you say, it isn't a complete lie. It depends on who/what the site is for/about. It's just dificult sometimes for me to explain to clients, when they themselves own a small screen computer ^^
I feel a lot of webdesigners who own a large screen do seem to sometimes forget who the site is for and that's how these headers came to be. I'm not judging your site per se because it looks really good! As long as its made responsive/adaptive so it looks great on smaller screens too, there shouldn't be a problem :) Looking forward to seeying more!
