First icon attempt! Was a lot more fun than I anticipated, hopefully it's something I can keep doing.

Wicked detail man, I can see you've worked hard on this. I'm doing something similar soon so I might a rebound!
Well done, Brad
Brad, I love all the work you've done for New Fantasyland, especially the typography. I'm a little sick of book "3D" perspective app icons, but this is rendered really well. I think the bookmark seems a bit off, as it seems to need some shading where it curves downward. The foil imprint of the castle on the cover could use a bit more shininess, less grungy. I *think* it should look more like a embossed foil, not a solid metal.
Looks awesome. For some reason the little bookmark feels "detached" a bit. Maybe because I'm expecting a little downwards fold towards the end of it. Still excellent work.
Thanks for the constructive comments everyone, very helpful. This one isn't shipped just yet so I'll be using your wisdom.
Probably wouldn't have gone with the book metaphor off the bat, but the app is literally an old book that you interact with, so it made sense in this case :)
