I've always loved the honeycomb pattern and I was playing around with it last night. After finally getting the individual hex columns to randomize I thought it started to look like some kind of futuristic city or something so I threw my little starship model in there. I'd like to add some grunge and filth to sell the ruin idea.
@Samuel Fyfe and @Peter Venglarcik Thanks a lot! I used Cinema 4D r14 to make the model with a bunch of different MoGraph modules and did the render with the GSG daylight rig and the progressive renderer. :D
