Looks really clean and nice!
Ooooh. I am so glad it's not flat. What's the 3rd icon for? Also, are the tags tappable?
@Haziq Mir "I am so glad it's not flat." I lol'd.
very clean, its really nice :)
Can I see a photo of it?
Nice Design. It looks like you use the same dimensions for the 2 and 3 icon. do you try to use the same width for the first icon? I think it would be nice to have it consistent.
@Haziq Mir for me it looks like archive.
Hey, the third icon is a box, representing Things. Meaning products. I'm still search for a good icon that fits in the same style. I think this could work because the title will be on that page.
Why not use helper text?
Good one sir!
After one click/touch it is clear what it is because of the headline. I think it works without text.
@Haziq Mir Because I think once you click on the icon, you see the title of the page and then you know it. No need for a label there. The icon is clear enough to remind you the name of the page next time you open the app.
@Jonno Riekwel So you took my advice and made the title darker after all? ;)
You guys are right! I wonder why Apple still uses it, though.
@Haziq Mir It takes a long time for big companies to drop the old habit. Same applies for the "Edit" button. It should be an icon. Dropbox got it, soon others will catch up.
Third icon looks like a dishwasher. Back to work.
@Farzad Ban I disagree with your argument. Putting a title as feedback for what page is the current sounds weird. You're not giving any feedback on what the other pages are about. Do you need to browse trough all the pages before you really know what they are about?
That said. @Jonno Riekwel the first and third tap-bar icons still have room for improvement.
Really like the crisp text. Nice work @Jonno
Really nice tab bar man, the visual details on the icons are great.
Hope you don't mind some feedback on the icon shapes?
One kick I've been on recently is making sure each of my icons are visually distinctive from the ones they sit near. Helps the brain parse the shapes quicker to find what it's looking for, instead of having to look for more recognizable distinction in the details.
This is especially useful if you remove the labels from the tabs. Maybe there's something you can do to the 3 rounded rect icons to make their base shapes different from one another? Though the consistency is a clever design, it makes the icons themselves less functional.
maybe a bit too similar to Dropbox app? :-) Lovely work though.
@Josef Richter how is it too similar? The only thing I see is the tabbar that doesn't have labels. Which I see in tons of places :)
@Andrew Cornett Thanks for the feedback, man. Appreciate it.
You mentioned it yourself "Good design is invisible" crispy stuff @Jonno!
