A recent conversation with Sentry got me thinking about my philosophy on Do Not Disturb and what purpose it serves. After spending a long time thinking and tinkering in Photoshop while driving home from Los Angeles yesterday, I concluded on new integration that I feel could solve multiple problems and address ideas people have for integrating Do Not Disturb toggling elsewhere.
Check my in-depth post on Tumblr for more details.
My initial approach to it was akin to this as well (i.e. OS X styled; http://cl.ly/M8E8), but I think there may be a more intuitive solution than a simple on/off switch. Hopefully i'll be able to explore it in the near future as well!
@Newar Nice! I just posted a link to my in-depth post on Tumblr which goes into more of my thought behind the way I did it. Your idea for a pull-to-enable view intrigued me, but my personal thought is that for something of this nature, two-step would be important.
