Juliana's Pizza (formerly known as Grimaldi's), designed alongside Louise Fili, has made its long-awaited debut.
Everything that comes out of Louise's studio is fresh—yet another wonderful demonstration of work that exudes classic without the pastiche.
Man! I really want some pizza!
Great work John, love the reference from the old italian signage, I think I am actually looking at the piece right now that this may have been inspired by.
Like a slice of New York's best pizza, this custom typography, and the accompanying elements, are something to savor. To heck with Ray's -- I gotta get me some Julianna's!
My eyes scanned over this and automatically I could tell it was the work of Louise Fili, and you of course. Great job!
P.S. Grimaldi's is now Juliana's? weird...
Looks great! And for anyone curious, the Grimaldi's everyone knows moved around the corner. The old space is now back in the hands of the original Grimaldi, Patsy Grimaldi. Yep...that Patsy. He changed the name to Juliana's after his late mother.
I was wondering who was responsible. Nice work!
What's happening top left? Also, beauts.
Just saw this in the New Yorker. So rad!
@Dana Was that an Aggie reference or a general "I'm from Texas" reference? Either way, I'm sure Eric and Booth would be proud. :)
This is just incredible.
@Zach McNair, Nope just something JP & I say :)
Gorgeous John. Your work always blows me away.
