I designed these Active Desktop speaker/studio monitor, rendered with vray, heavy post in Photoshop. Better render in environment will come when I have a little more time.
@Mads Roland Thanks, there isn't a single area that is flat on it, I like that all sides are a ( - shaped, but I agree the light from behind is a little to much and looks weird.
@Antonio Krämer Fernandez Yeah its a light behind it, didn't want to have a led to indicate that they are on.
@Hüseyin Yilmaz ☺ Meh", I like that part :) The point is to try make something different and not just a cube with 2 normal speaker elements in it. All my favourite speakers got that shape on the sides so could not resist it hehe
@Gert van Duinen Yeah could been, trying to figure out what it looks like still :)
Damn, you should pick it up again, it's so damn fun to play around with.

The front looks great, but there's something with the side. To me it looks too grey or round. Don't know! Good job anyways!

Dont like this part:

and the side. Perspective looks like a little bit creepy.
Same opinion like @Mads Roland
But love the screw.

Overall - I'm still missing my jaw ... seriously, fantastic! But yeah, I guess the backlight (or sidelight) is a bit too strong for my liking too ...

Looks like Mackies!
Did lots of abstract art renders in c4d > vray back in the days. Wish I had more time to utilize it in my design presentation phase.
