   I had some time to kill today so I used it to make this litle widget and get some practice with paper textures. I think it turned out pretty good for 30mins worth of ps work :)

   Thanks @Avinash Tripathi, as you'll see the texture is composed of two layers, you can adjust the opacity of theese to bring in more folds or grunge in the paper.

    I like the idea, but my first thought was same as @Ryan Murphy - why don't the tears match up?

    And this might be personal taste, but it seems to wrinkled as well for being a new receipt.

    But I like the idea & nice job for 30min.

    Nice work: 3 Issue

    1. The bottom and top hole punches don't match. One's super small and the other is really big.

    2. The texture doesn't really look like paper, its very grungy, too grungy for receipt paper.

    3. The shadow on the bottom right wouldn't large and strong.
