   This is one of those logos where the logo becomes very clever if the word "Pixel Picasso" (in a normal typeface) is next to it somewhere, but can be illegible if it's not written out (in a normal typeface) somewhere near.

   Overall, very cool. Very original.

   Overall I'm lovin it. Good insight from @Matt Warren - a difficult challenge to make it less abstract. Even so the logo has stopping power - the ability to make the viewer stop, think and try to deconstruct it.
