   the first of 12 background screens for an iphone app. trying match the scene with the time period the device is from. struggling with this part...as the phones & time periods change from screen to screen. more later.

   sometimes it seems the scene & surroundings becomes just as important as the object itself.

   each level is from a different time period. the first patent for a rotary dial phone was issued on november 29, 1892. this particular style of phone became available around 1950.
