I like this style. I think I might make more icons like this, maybe the start of a new set? :)

Beautiful! It's crazy how you managed to achieve a perspective with only white!

Nicely done. Did you use Ai or Ps to make these? Maybe even Sketch?

That's a great style. Even if it's a bit less legible than typical symbols far better than most of the rehashed stuff that now goes under the label of glyphs.

@Prathyush Thank you! I only wanted to make icons (or "glyphs") like this if they were going to be different, even if only slightly. Hopefully I can reach a good balance between legibility and a unique visual style.

Nice! It's interesting to see the community move more and more towards Ps for complex vector work when just a year ago, people were still lauding Ai for it's pathfinder as invaluable for making paths to import into Ps.

  15. Logo concept for a buddy that posts ratings on Austin music festivals (SXSW, ACL Fest, FunFunFun, etc). It's a loose rebound of @Prekesh's awesome minimal icons which gave me the shading direction for a solid color logo. I was also inspired by the general hippo outline in one of @cresk's designs. Also, they had hipster glasses on the original Hippohonk logo so I snuck em into the typeface. Yay!

Those non-pointy points on the speech bubble and location pin are bugging me. I get where you’re going with ’em, though. They match the gear nicely. But they bug me. But I see where you’re going. But they bug me.

Other than that, three thumbs up.

The speech bubble point should really pinch in a bit more; no need to restrict yourself in that regard, the overall style will remain intact.
