   Starting out all of site was dark, but I couldn't get the style working well for the blog so I made it bright.

   For a while I wanted to make all of my site white, but the portfolio part just works better against a dark background; makes the "paintings" pop. So this works basically like a light switch between the showcase and blog part. Not my original intent but glad how it worked out.

   (You can tell I think too much of stuff like this)
