I like the feel of it. The clean serif font against the curves of the folksy badge has a nice contrast. I would suggest you do some hand work fixing the strokes from skewing the text. You can notice it mostly in the curved strokes, like the arcs of the "s" and bowls of the "u" and "a". It's the same issue faux italics suffer from, and it's not instantly noticeable, but fixing it will push the design up a notch.
lol ok. I was just trying to get something to compare it to and see how appropriate it is. But I like it as is. The badge shape goes nicely with that font.
The bowl of the "u" and "a" is slightly thicker than it'd normally be, and it's especially noticeable on the "u" (look at the way it juts out sharply). The "a" isn't as noticeable but it's still there. On the "s" the finials have a slight hook to on the interior edge of the stroke because the arc has been thinned.
They're really small details and a real typographer would probably be able to pick up more, but I'm just an amateur at best.
Tried fixing some of the stroke weight issues that @James Wilson pointed out but, I don't seem to have a good eye for it. Would love any more feedback!

It's pretty basic and doesn't give much hint about what it's trying to represent. Thus, not sure if it's a good solution.
