Sharing my recent work with you.Its a feedback managing app. I've created a couple of options for it and would love to know which option do you prefer.
Really good work - - I prefer the darker version, hands down! I feel that darker apps work better on mobile since lighting is always changing. The only minor (very minor) quibble I have is that the 3 bar icon on top left is over drawn, too many effects (drop shadow, gradient, edges, high-lights) needs to be simplified IMHO.
Great stuff! I prefer the darker version as well, as it places more emphasis on the content than the other color scheme does, and is also easier on the eyes.
On a different note, I'm not so sure about those speech bubble glyphs in the tab bar. They're perhaps a bit too unique. How about styling them like that comments icon on the question cards?
Looks great bro. I also like Green-Brown comb. But perple list looks better IMHO. BTW, web app is done? Or it's a different project? You gotta share with me you know ;)
Green/brown looks more fresh to me. Maybe because lately I can see many of dark UI designs and they look pretty simmilar to each other. Great work anyway!
I'd prefer the darker version personally. Much better in terms of content viewing. You lost me there in the green and brown. Wandering whether to admire the color or the content :P
@Bryan Kearney I had it with less effects first but it started to look good when i added more effects. Tbh I love it this way because whole interface is simple so it fits good there :)
wonderful.... i only move the "new message" button to the up right corner, i think is the best place to the "new blablabla" buttons (i think all the twitter clients puts the "new tweet" there)
Looks nice, I prefer the darker version myself. Couple notes I might take into consideration:
Under the Categories menu, what's the logic behind showing just the 2 circled arrows? Is that a tapped or selected state? I feel like all the categories should have arrows, or none.
Also, I'd align their right edge so they're flush with the top two icons.
Lastly, I like the My Messages icon - only note I'd say is it's really close to the top edge of the bar. The rounded rectangle selection box will cut off part of the blue circle when it's selected and there are new messages. Maybe make it smaller so it has the same vertical height as All Messages & New Messages.

Looks cool! I like that violet. Works great with darker colors. But second version looks like beautiful harmony between that colors.

i prefere purple colors for better contrast with your grey color and dark button.

Personally prefer darker colors for best contrast in low light when it comes to GUI. Really like the purple combination you show here :)
