First of all, a huge thanks to @Samuel Fine for the invite!
This is a WIP concept for a startup I'm working on with friend Nick. The idea for the startup came from our distaste as students for Blackboard. Can't wait to contribute even more to this awesome community!

Welcome! I hate blackboard. It's improved a bit over time, but I've had to use it for the last 8 years, starting in high school.
My suggestions would be to improve the color palette and make the "due" sections slightly bigger. Can't wait to see the final man.

@Jeremy Goldberg Yea, my local community college uses it and I hate it so much that I decided to make my own with my friend. What would you recommend regarding the colors and I like the idea regarding the due section!

@Matthew Harris I think the yellow title bar is what I would change, but if it's part of your brand identity then I get it. I would just make the color palette a bit softer because the assignments are what's important and should be the main focus. Just my two cents tho.
