Oh, I'm not a logo specialist but I think it's well :)
It's a logo for a small photo portfolio website. What you think about it?
Why mountains? Simple answer... She loves mountains! :)

Why not make the edges of the mountains meet the edges of the hexagon block below? I like it. I mean, doesn't scream photography except the name, but then again, apart from climbing, what else can you do with mountains except stare at them.

Right, the mountains have basically no relation to the name. but I think it also should not be. The logo needs to fit the person and I think it fits quite well. But i know what you mean. Maybe I do some changes on the logo. We'll see :)
