Animation seems to becoming more and more integral to the experiences I try to create… thought I'd see how fun I could make a loading animation.
No speed curves in this yet which should improve the feel quite a bit but like it so far!

The dots 'catching' each other at the beginning is very cool. Im not sure about the final stretched line, though. It reminds me of the old vacuum tube TVs being turned off, which clashes a bit with the more minimal shape animation you have. Keen to see what you do next!
Really nice animation.
The curves will help.. but this already feels really natural.
I 100% agree with @Senongo. Dots are awesome. Final line feels off.
I prefer just the beginning animation. I think it should fade out or something after.
This is fantastic!
I would like to see the final dot just follow the other dots at the end. Almost as if it's a queue where all of the dots have to wait briefly and then zip forward, kind of like what the users will do.
Haha... Nice one... I like :-).
Nicely done, sir!
Just wondering how you did this? PS animation, Flash or what?
Nice shot ! Straight to my animation bucket.
@Lane Yu All PS for this one… need to redo the whole thing in After Effects to get speed curves and make the changes in form seem a bit more natural.
Ended up tweeting the animation panel if its of any interest https://twitter.com/MaxDiCapua/status/285134548218556417
@Max Di Capua Thanks for this patient explanation, and Happy New Year!
Great idea! I agree with @Senongo!
