   It's an iOS icon. Of a moon. So, I guess it is a moon, kind of.

   Edit: Realized I made a terrible mistake. The icon is not A moon, as it is not orbiting a larger body. Rather, it is representative of THE Moon, planet earth's sole moon. My sincere apologies.
