@Greg "Heart Hospital of New Mexico" it's what I thought when I saw it as well. I've read its story in a logo book.
Greg, Radu, thanks for that tip - I'll have to look that logo up. The inspiration for incorporating the Zia Sun symbol (pending the Tribe's permission) was actually from the symbol on the New Mexico state flag. Merging it with the U.S. Highway shield seemed like the simplest way to symbolize "New Mexico + Route 66." I also like that it suggests an intersection of roads...
