   I wonder, why didn't you make the cord nicely aligned and centered? Also, you could put the cord to start at the left corner and go to the center - this way it might resemble a tip of the pen too ;)

   Moved the position of the chord so that the top looks like the nib of a pen as suggested by @Frane Gorjanc. I would have stuck it on the left but I didn't really want to draw the tassels, wanted to keep it simple. Thoughts?
