So I decided to rebound this applying some of the feedback from the previous shot and going with a softer look overall. This time, I am using batch icons. - Still like symbolicons from the previous shot as well just thought I'd give it a different flavor :) thanks for all the feedback!!
awesome (Batch) icons by: @Adam Whitcroft

very easy on the eye and dreamy. I like it!
Looks very nice, but i would change color of top panel - it's too light :)
This is very low contrast. I have an older monitor where this is basically all gray :)
Also, the Upload section looks as if it sits one level farther from the viewer and Search/Location slid apart to reveal it... sort of like this.
Great! @Rovane Durso

Love how sharp the fonts are and the colours, but this is on a retina screen. Sweet work from where I am man.
Can I give some more tips?
And if you make everything solid? No gradients, no shadows.
Just try yourself there and see what you get. I like the blue (darkest part) that you use on the header. Make solid with this color, also on the label with the number 97.
The fonts and icons, on the header and on the label, make it the same pallet, but darker, with good contrast.
Make the Menu title even more strong.
On the progress bar, all solid. no shadows, no gradients. The bar itself just a bit darker than the background of the item, and the content, the same color as the header.
I would also make all the fonts a bit stronger.
I believe your quality of work is getting better and better.
If you want to keep only one shadow, keep the one on the very bottom, of the whole thing.
Love your color scheme here...
great job, love the color
I agree with @Armas B great work and the softness of the colors are lovely.
Awesome! Even better now!
@Igor Ivankovic Thank you Sir!
@Petr Kříž Thank you! I wanted to be light :)
@Alex Pankratov That's interesting - I guess we design for the latest and greatest and forget that not everyone have the new stuff. will keep that in mind but on a retina display it looks great :)

Also, i've made Html / Css version on Codepen.io !
Any Feedback is more then welcome.

Rolling oldschool, but I don't believe a menu should be a vividly fun experience, but something you'd never even think about.
If I were a true champion I'd created an animation showing the cancel "x" when hovering my "uploading.." action. But well. I'm not.
