I've just discovered something I was working on last year, it's an visual communication style for Skype, just a concept :) maybe it's just a small thing, but I decided to share it with you all and start little PLAYOFF with your own ideas around brands and logos.
And btw. my skype is charlieisslander :)

Nice idea :$
Totally in love with it, Charlie. Skype should just use this. Hah!
Nice. Send it to skype!
I also redesigned that mark little - typography too :)
I think you're asking a little much of such a simple mark. Surly those kinds of images are better delivered across another touch-point, one with more impact?
I would however agree that their current illustrative style is a little tired and some interesting, proprietary images - perhaps a union of communication, people and international locations - would perhaps be a little more compelling and mature.
it's amazing, simple, clever, colorful.
It you want to conceptualize on my website lol!
Great idea, really like!
Really like the concept, looks great!
Brilliant concept. Skype should buy that from you.
Reminds me of that Google Maps for iPhone video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ofbrX-aC-I
@Ivan Tolmachev Yes sir, that's thing that reminds me, that I've done something like that :)
It would represent skype very well! Great work!

I was just playing with logotype preparing Barcamp conference in Prague. Inspired by @Charlie & Christine Issland. :)

It would be cool to see this but with the pictures sliding in and out in a "live tile" like way.
