   I haven't redesigned my blog in 4 years, and the new concept came from a note I scribbled to myself on my iPhone while (presumably) drunk:

   "unless you plan to monetize glitter and rainbows, unicorns have no place in yr biz"

   Also, narwhals are awesome, more awesome than unicorns, and narwhals also happen to reflect reality (while unicorns typify fantasy). So I hired an illustrator to draw me a narwhal impaling a unicorn to death.

   Now I'm trying (so far unsuccessfully) to work this into a modern minimalist layout.
