Our "place order" buttons used to look exactly like that (only orange), and for the same reason you mentioned. http://cl.ly/image/1T130q3Z1h3T
In a marketplace like Zaarly, where the price can vary depending on what you need, we're learning that it's helpful for our customers if we separate the concept of the price from the act of placing an order.
We don't want to separate them too much though, because then it doesn't really feel like shopping.
