Working on a design refresh for Windward app. iPhone 5 compatibility is on it's way. We're a little late we know :p
I tweet, so you should probably go follow me.

interesting concept, looks nice ;)
Very nice! You should dribbble more so I can dribble more.
Question: Is the digital clock font considered skeuomorphism?
Man this looks crisp. Love these improvements @Kerem Suer.
@Jim Jones Yes it is skeuomorphism. Buttons, hard plastic texture, digital display are also skeuomorphic elements in this design. The leather texture, displays and bunch of stuff were also skeuomorphic on the first (and current) version. What do you think about them?
I'm not a fan of the digital font as it is hard to read, especially in the list format. In map view, the leather texture feels disjointed from the map, making the data feel less credible, to me.
I do like the smoothness displayed in this shot compared to what I see on my phone. The current one on my phone feels jagged and hard and I like to think of wind being smooth and whimsical.
This is probably just a dumb style thing, but have you tried the fill under the curve fading out to 0%?
But maybe that only makes sense when there needs to be a transition for the eye to the labels and axis.
@Jim Jones @Kerem Suer you guys just blew my mind thinking about if a font can be skeuomorphic.
In this case I believe it is…I think. I say that in response to the faded 0 to the left of the 2. But honestly, it's a font, so maybe it's not (?).
You're hurting my brain pixels.
Great work, only thing i`m not sure about are those textures - that smaller one and bigger one (maybe use one? or divide it somehow?) :)
Thanks so much for updating this @Kerem, this is my go-to app when we head to the coast to go fishing and use it for tide-charts, water temp and to check wind speeds.
- Options for Military Time and Standard Time
- Ability to show High Tide/Low Tide at Times instead of wave heights
- Wind speed in MPH vs KTS
- Day & Night mode would just be nice to have :)
Really cool! Well done! Lovely UI! @Kerem Suer
Will this measure wind from my farts? Last version didn't have this. Was extremely disappointed and still waiting for my refund in the mail.
@Eric Hoffman yes it will be measuring fart speed this time. We have been testing outside vs under the cover farts, but the results have been inconsistent somehow. Thanks for the support.
@matt ⚒ glad it's helpful. Night mode and time options are already being implemented. MPH vs KTS is a good one, added to our list. Thanks.
@Jim Jones duly noted man, thanks for all the good feedback.
@Harry Shoff I haven't really tried it, but I sort of want that not be 0% so it does separate itself from the background a little bit. Thanks for the feedback.
@Luboš Volkov you're right dude, I'm not feeling comfortable with the textures at this moment, I might lose the background texture.
The year is 2031, and, something has gone terribly terribly wrong. BTW, love it.
Observation: Kerem and @Julia Khusainova have two of the smartest, friendliest, and most inquisitive personalities on Dribbble.
@Philip Clark you must meet @Kerem Suer in person then. He's actually a huge idiot.
@Eric Hoffman I met @Kerem Suer in person. He was wonderfully pleasant and a gentleman. There's a 90% chance we are BFFs now. I think you are just jealous of our friendship, Eric. Sorry dude. Grow up.
Loud noises. App looks cool.
Looks great Karem.
@Rogie Last time I was in the city, @Kerem Suer and I hit themelt.com for some sweet grilled cheese action.. I'm fairly sure he spit in my tomato bisque. Gentleman my eye.
