I recreated a design I made over a year ago. Partially as an experiment, and partially to update it for the iPhone 5 screen size because the old one bugged me. Crazy how noticeable the improvement was when I compared the two! No magic secret or shortcut. Just a year of daily practicing was the difference.
Great improvements Sean! I especially like how you've changed the alignment of "outside and your".
Also, I'm sure you gave this thought, but what were your thoughts on making "outside your screen" relatively larger? My initial reaction is to be drawn to the device due to its blocky and condensed lettering, but it seems that the kicker here is the text on the right side.
@Eli Schiff I'm okay with you being drawn to the device initially. That way the visual entry point is at the start of the phrase, and you eventually make your way out to the end.
