Glad you're working on a new way to experience podcasts. It's very much needed.
Edit: I think the capsules around the numbers in the top are 1px to tall, or the numbers need to come down 1px (just slightly off centered). On that note, it might be wise to consider how it looks with 1000+ followers/following.
Thanks for the crit @Matt Kump??, Ill watch the alignment on those numbers. Check out my previous shot here: http://dribbble.com/shots/849049-Publisher-profile to see how it could handle larger numbers. and this snippet shows an unlikely worst case scenario http://d.pr/i/pGkK. It gets a little cramped but I could always drop the type size down if needed.
I get why you felt the need to change the blue, but I don't think taking it away was helpful. The fun and playfulness feels a little gone without it. Different color, same emotion?
@Michael Aleo I also dont think there was anything wrong with the previous color and i liked the playfulness the blue brought.
But its true that there are A LOT of popular blue branded apps out currently and in the end I didnt change the color just because of similarities with Twitter, but also facebook, rdio, dropbox, sparrow etc (not to mention blue icons for safari, mail, app store on iOS to name a few...).
Im happy with the new color scheme (for now, nothing is final) because I think it gives it its own identity. I think the "emotion" of the app will come through in the interactions and animations that arent captured in a 800x600px shot :).
While the numbers are nice… it's really too bad there's not a universal metric for these types of things. How many web subscribers, iTunes subscribers, Stitcher subscribers, Podcasper subscribers?

Ah good call. Looks like that'll work. No real need to be super-specific at that point.

@Cody Jones indeed... if only there was a system where those kinds of metrics were tracked
