Looking nice! Can you add a straight-on, full-pixel shot of the screen?

Thanks! What was your thought process behind having an overlaying reservation modal instead of having a separate screen to house that info and the corresponding buttons?

I would have gone with a separate page that slides over from the right or up from the bottom. I'm interested to hear why you chose this approach…

After some discussions with the engineers, we found it best to treat this as a full screen modal that has the potential to have several steps in the process with the need to go both back and forth (left/right) between forms for credit cards, cancellation policies, purchase add-ons, and still have the ability to cancel (push back down the modal) to the screen you were on to look for a different reservation. This is still early in the process and I'm sure it will shape up differently in some manner as we continue to build and explore.

That's great insight—thanks for sharing! Two of the challenges of overlaying a modal on iPhone are that the background UI may confuse/distract users and the process to exit the modal may not be instantly intuitive/natural for users.

Really good stuff thus far. Good luck with the rest of the process!
